We’re so excited to partner with Stone Soup for their Personal Narrative Contest!

For the contest, Stone Soup is looking for excellent, innovative, moving, playful personal narratives or mini-memoirs. The deadline is December 15, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Time) and there is a $4 entry fee. You can read all the details and contest rules at this link. Most excitingly, the first 150 submitters will receive a personalized editorial note from us! These notes will highlight a strength in your piece and offer guidance about how to build on that strength in future writing. Winners will be announced in January 2020.

To help you prepare, we’re hosting a video series called Spill Some Ink with Stone Soup! The video below is Chapter Three in our series, designed to help youth writers prepare their entries for the Stone Soup Personal Narrative Contest.
