Writerly Play: How to Move Writers from ‘No Way!’ to ‘Yay!’

You’re gathering new library books, writer’s journals, and pencils, and we want to add a bit of magic to your writing toolkit as you head back to school this year.

We’ve put together a new FREE master class just for you.

Join us on September 20, 2018 at 4:30 pm PT.

We'll teach you about Society of Young Inklings' unique methodology, Writerly Play.

More than anything else, Writerly Play is a mindset. What this means (excellent news for busy educators!) is that these tools will easily fit into your current curriculum. Think of Writerly Play like a boost for your writing program smoothie.

In this hour-long Writerly Play workshop, we'll teach you how to use Writerly Play games and tools to...

  • boost students’ writing motivation and creative energy
  • facilitate idea generation, drafting and revision
  • translate abstract writing concepts into practical strategies
