What can you expect as an Inklings member?
As an Inklings member, you will take on journaling challenges, meet authors, and meet up in live writing workshop sessions. Membership is a space where you can build your artistic skills as a creative writer. We invite you to build a regular writing practice that works for you, and share your ideas, insights, and writing with our enthusiastic community of members. We can’t wait to cheer you on as you write, explore, challenge yourself, share your work, learn more about writing craft, and develop your writerly voice.
Our MEMBERSHIP COMMUNITY INCLUDES:
- A monthly journaling challenge
- Two live sessions per month – an author interview and a peer collaboration session (dates vary and replays are always shared)
- An active community discussion area where you can share your writing and get feedback, recommend books and enjoy recommendations from others, join in on the conversation about author interviews and live sessions, and more!
Membership is designed as a flexible, low-time-commitment opportunity to accommodate and connect youth writers across our international community. Our teen leaders and mentors facilitate the discussion area and live sessions. Should you want regularly scheduled sessions and/or personalized feedback from a mentor, consider signing up for one-on-one mentorship. As a one-on-one mentorship student, you are automatically enrolled in our membership community as well.
