What’s an Odyssey Plan?Â
As a creative writer, you’re on a journey. It’s an epic challenge, a quest only you can take. You’re seeking your own creative voice, because YOU are the only one who can tell the stories inside of you. No one else has the exact perspective, the exact experiences, or the exact imagination as you do. If you don’t write the story that’s rattling around inside your head, no one will. That amazing creation can only exist if you bring it to life.
Chances are there isn’t only one creation inside of you. In fact, you probably have a galaxy of creative landscape to explore and share with the world. An Odyssey Plan will help you map the journey between where you are right now to a deeper understanding of how to tell the stories that only you can tell.
You may choose to write a novel, or a series of short stories, or a collection of poetry, or any number of other projects. You’ll also choose a North Star, which will guide your journey. When your Odyssey is completed, you won’t only have one finished piece to share with the world. You’ll also have tapped into that powerful voice of yours, and then, anything is possible.

Mentor-Supported Design
You can also work with a mentor to set up an Odyssey Plan and see it through. Choose the mentor-supported option that works best for you:
DRAFTING WORKSHOP
In the Drafting Workshop, you have monthly access to asynchronous mentor guidance, in addition to a range of other creative resources and opportunities. Fill in a quick check-in form and your mentor will record a personalized video in response. This option is perfect for self-directed learners who would like a light amount of accountability and support.
ONE-ON-ONE MENTORSHIP
Work one-on-one with an author in a focused video-conferencing mentorship. Whether you choose to meet your mentor monthly, every-other week, or even once per week, you can set a cadence that matches your goals and creative style. We’ll kick off your mentorship by collaborating on the design of an Odyssey Plan that’s custom-fit for you.
