Somebody’s Gotta Root for the Underdog

by Fresh Ink Author Noah James Mayne

A book about surviving fourth grade

Somebody’s Gotta Root for the Underdog

James’ story walks readers through a laughable semester at St. James school, where he learns about navigating friendships, being a good teammate, and why it’s important to root for the underdog.

“I was inspired by Jewell Parker Rhodes, my mentor, who writes books to raise awareness or teach a lesson. I wanted to do the same by writing to teaching others about kindness and friendship.”
