ZOOM INTO CREATIVITY IN AN ONLINE CAMP

The Plot Thickens

Dates: Monday-Friday 7/28/25-8/1/25
Time: 9 – 11 am (PT) // 12 – 2 (ET)
Ages: 9 – 14

A ticking time bomb. A mess of your character’s own making. How can we push the stakes in our stories to make them more compelling? Whether your favorite genre is fantasy, realistic fiction, or adventure, join author, Sonja Solter, to generate new stories or deepen the one you’re already working on.

I Am The Story

I Am The Story

Dates: Monday-Friday  8/11/25 – 8/15/25
Time: 1 – 3 pm (PT) // 4 – 6 (ET)
Ages: 9 – 14

How might we use our uniquely magical selves, our own lives, and our personal stories as templates for fictional work? Each day of camp, we will focus on one of five areas of craft: character, setting, plot, POV, and theme. Through interactive exercises, we’ll explore these elements in our own lives and learn how to connect the dots to our fiction writing.
