INKLINGS MEMBERSHIP
When you join Society of Young Inklings, you’ll join a group of creative writers who are committed and passionate about their writing, just like you.
Design a Novel
Dates: Monday-Friday 6/16/25-6/20/25
Time: 1 – 3 pm (PT) // 4 – 6 (ET)
Ages: 9-14
Design a new novel from the ground up, or take your current concept to the next level. In this Zoom workshop facilitated by author, Naomi Kinsman, you’ll brainstorm options, interview your characters, map your story-world, and shape your plot.
Character Lab
Dates: Monday-Friday 6/23/25 – 6/27/25
Time: 1 – 3 pm (PT) // 4 – 6 (ET)
Ages: 9-14
What drives your characters? What kinds of trouble will their choices lead them into? Bring an ongoing project to this workshop or come with an open mind, ready to build a brand new cast of intriguing, full-of-potential characters.
Writer's Lab
Dates: Monday-Friday 7/7/25–7/11/25
Time: 1 – 3 pm (PT) // 4 – 6 (ET)
Ages: 9-14
How might you add conflict, surprise, heart, or humor to your scenes? Bring an ongoing project to our writer’s workshop or come with an open mind, ready to experiment with writing craft skills that transform your scenes from strong to spectacular.
INKLINGS 1-ON-1 MENTORSHIP
Tapping into that creative voice is like gaining a superpower. In your Inklings mentorship, you’ll collaborate with a mentor to develop the flexible thinking skills you need to move the big ideas in your heart and head out onto the page.
