One of the challenging parts about creating a cast of characters is making them sound like different, individual people. Finding the voice of each individual character is both challenging and fun. In this lesson, we’re going to play around with strategies for creating a lively cast of characters. Stepping into your characters’ shoes will give you insight into their contrasting points of view. When you understand your characters, you can build conflict in every scene, which will keep your readers on the edges of their seats.
